In 1995, SAS Environmental opened its doors in Akron, Ohio as an environmental consulting company.
We initially specialized in Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments, but as we began providing operation and maintenance on a variety of commercial and industrial remediation systems, we found our team’s expertise applicable in landfill leachate collection systems as well.
When SAS technicians designed and installed a leachate pretreatment system at a local landfill, the performance of the system and our on-site operation and maintenance afforded us the opportunity to implement services at several additional sites at over 50 locations in five states.
Today, our corporate office is located in Medina, Ohio and we service clients throughout the United States. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, mid-size and small companies, local government organizations, financial institutions, real estate developers, venture capital groups, municipal solid waste sites, and industrial landfill sites. Our technical staff is trained, experienced, and reliable.
